What We Stand On

Values & Beliefs

Our beliefs are not opinions — they are convictions rooted in the unchanging Word of God. These are the doctrinal foundations upon which Supreme Breakthrough Ministries International is built.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

Our Doctrinal Foundations

What We Believe

01

2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21

The Holy Scriptures

The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe the entire Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the divinely inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Scripture alone is sufficient to equip every believer for every good work.

02

Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14

The One True God

There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, holy, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He exists eternally as three co-equal, co-eternal Persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each Person is distinct, yet they are one in essence, nature, and glory.

03

John 1:1,14 · Isaiah 7:14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Acts 1:11

The Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man — the only Saviour of the world.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became flesh through the virgin birth. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory. He is the only way to salvation.

04

John 16:7–13 · Acts 1:8 · 1 Corinthians 12:4–11

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, and gifts every believer for life and ministry.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, fully God. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer at salvation, indwells every born-again Christian, and empowers the church for witness and service. We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, including the gifts of the Spirit as described in 1 Corinthians 12 and 14.

05

Romans 3:23 · Ephesians 2:8–9 · John 3:16 · Acts 4:12

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

Salvation is a free gift of God received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are therefore under the just condemnation of God. Salvation — the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life — is available to all who repent and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is entirely by God's grace, not by human works or merit.

06

Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:3–4 · Acts 2:38

Water Baptism

Baptism by immersion is an outward declaration of an inward transformation.

We believe that water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of a believer's faith in Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. It does not save, but it is an act of obedience and a powerful testimony of the new life found in Jesus.

07

Acts 1:8 · Acts 2:1–4 · Acts 10:44–46

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a distinct empowerment for every believer.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as experienced on the Day of Pentecost, is available to all believers today. This experience empowers the believer for bold witness and effective ministry. We believe in the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, as well as the ongoing operation of all the gifts of the Spirit.

08

Isaiah 53:4–5 · James 5:14–15 · Matthew 8:16–17

Divine Healing

God heals the sick today — healing is provided in the atonement of Christ.

We believe in divine healing for the body as part of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. By His stripes we are healed. We pray for the sick with faith, believing that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever — and that He still performs miracles in response to believing prayer.

09

Ephesians 1:22–23 · Ephesians 4:11–13 · Matthew 16:18

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ — called to worship, disciple, and reach the world.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all born-again believers. The local church is God's primary instrument for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and world evangelism. We are committed to the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) as God's design for equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

10

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Revelation 19:11–16 · Acts 1:11

The Second Coming of Christ

Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and bodily to the earth.

We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ. His return is the blessed hope of the Church. At His coming, the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive will be caught up to meet Him. He will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords, and His Kingdom will have no end.

11

John 5:28–29 · Revelation 20:11–15 · John 14:1–3

Resurrection & Eternal Life

There is a bodily resurrection — the righteous to eternal life, the wicked to eternal judgment.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people — the saved to eternal life in the presence of God, and the unsaved to eternal separation from God. Heaven is a real place of eternal joy and fellowship with God. Hell is a real place of eternal separation and judgment. The choices made in this life have eternal consequences.

12

Matthew 28:18–20 · Mark 16:15 · Acts 1:8

The Great Commission

Every believer is called to go, make disciples, and preach the Gospel to all nations.

We believe the Great Commission is the mandate of every believer and every local church. We are called to go into all the world, preach the Gospel, make disciples, baptize them, and teach them to obey all that Christ commanded. This commission drives our missions work in East Africa and our outreach in the United States.

Built on an Unshakeable Foundation

These beliefs are not just statements on a page — they are the living convictions that shape every sermon, every prayer, every mission trip, and every act of service at Supreme Breakthrough Ministries International. We invite you to come and experience them for yourself.
